Welcome back!

Hi! I’m a homeschooling mom of a 9yo, 6yo, 2yo & baby-on-the-way, and I’ve been reading the Moore’s books since my oldest was a baby. I was very excited to discover your website today! I am wondering if there is any forum or other online support group of parents using this method. I would love to hear the feedback and support of other parents along this path – especially as we are considering starting a family cottage industry. It is always helpful to hear how others are working through all of the inevitable challenges that come along with the joys of homeschooling! Thank you! ~ Collette B.
I think starting a forum is a WONDERFUL idea! I’m not aware of any other support group out there that centers around the “Moore Formula”, but that doesn’t mean there isn’t one.
The reason for my starting MooreHomeschool.com is to keep the legacy the Moore’s have given us alive. Something as wonderful and evergreen as these books, shouldn’t be left to die.
I still have the Moore McGuffey readers and three of Raymond Moore’s children books to add to the website and then I will check into starting a forum. You’re right, being able to share with one another is always encouraging.
Starting a cottage industry is a wonderful idea! That’s what we did three years ago and it has been a wonderful experience.
As soon as the forum becomes a reality I will drop you a line and let you know!
