We've been homeschooling for 25 years. We started when our oldest son was six years old, effectively utilizing the concepts of Raymond and Dorothy Moore. Their teachings are fully researched and documented and I am confident all their books will help parents of every generation ensure a creative, stress-free environment in which to home school their children.
I never had the pleasure of meeting the Moore's, but through a series of 'divine' appointments, we are now working with their son, Dennis Moore, and are currently selling the inventory that remains of all physical books. Once they have been sold, none will be republished. However, we will be replacing those physical books with eBooks (electronic books) in order to keep perpetuating these wonderfully evergreen books.
I cannot recommend these books highly enough. I am very thankful I found them 25 years ago when I sooooo badly needed direction on homeschooling my child(ren). Since that time we have successfully homeschooled eight happy, healthy children. These fully researched books really do work!
As parents, you're the best teacher for your children, especially during their early, impressionable years. Whether you choose to home school, or send your child/children to private or public school, you will find the Moores' books an enlightening, helpful guide to raising your children through tried and true home schooling principles.
Relax! Enjoy your children! Their education is not a race that needs to be run. For example, the Moore's first book, "Better late than Early", is a classic showing that you need not push academics at too early an age.
Spend some time with us and look over the books offered. Then, do your child and yourself a favor and consider purchasing these books today! You will be glad you did!!
